How to Make Nawabi Biryani?

Hello Guys here I am going to teach you a special recipe for making Nawabi Biryani but before I start let me tell me little bit about this Biryani.

Nawabi Biryani is also known as Shahi Nawabi Biryani, The Nawabs of Lucknow, Aligarh and other cities of India started making this kind of Biryani in their own for a delicious taste.

Making Nawabi Biryani is not a great task the only great task, here in this article I am going to share all the tips through which you will be able to make this Shahi Nawabi Biryani.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Peas
  • 2 Spoon Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  • 1 Liter Water
  • 1 Spoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 2 Cups Basmati Rice (Chawal)
  • 2 Medium Chopped Potatoes
  • 2 Medium Thinly Sliced Onions

Spices:

  • Salt (According to taste)
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Mint (Pudina) Leaves 
  • 2 Tea Spoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1/2 Spoon Garam Masala
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk Powder

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in large pan; cook onions and potatoes, stirring, until both are just browned lightly.
  2. Add seeds and Mint Masala, cook, stirring, until fragrant. Stir in rice.
  3. Add water, simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in peas; stand, covered 10 minutes.
  4. Blend or process all ingredients of mint masala until pureed.
Now your Shahi Biryani is ready to eat, serve hot and eat this delicious Biryani.
